I work in an ambulance and have a laptop that I use all day for 12 hours + rotations. It's not the highest quality mic, but it works for my needs without breaking my budget. You get what you pay for and the price will not disappoint.

Great mic for the money. The materials and quality are better than what you pay for. My only gripe is that the waterproof connector on the 3.5mm audio jack on the mic is so tight that it stretches and compresses the rubber connector when you connect a cable to it. But don't deduct a star.

This mic goes to my Kenwood radio. I was currently using a crappy Baofeng mic that wasn't working properly. The mic mount also didn't rotate at all, which is a major mounting issue that this mic doesn't have. It feels heavy and well built to me, with a firm feel that I like. The audio output was more than adequate and the mic didn't fall out of my paragliding harness during use which was a bonus. So far I am very happy with this microphone.

It takes some effort to insert, but attaches securely to Baofeng BF-F8HP and is a great accessory for vests and tote bags. The speaker microphone has an additional connection for a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can use it as a microphone while the sound goes directly to your ear instead of being broadcast all over the world. thick and the cable and connectors are not flimsy. After reading the reviews I was concerned that this mic might suffer from the low volume but I didn't think it was the case. Actually, the thing is loud. I use it with Anytone AT-D868UV and it sounds great both analogue and digital. The output sound is crisp, clear and loud enough. This roughly corresponds to the loudspeaker volume of the radio.
