After reading the reviews I was concerned that this mic might suffer from the low volume but I didn't think it was the case. Actually, the thing is loud. I use it with Anytone AT-D868UV and it sounds great both analogue and digital. The output sound is crisp, clear and loud enough. This roughly corresponds to the loudspeaker volume of the radio. In digital mode it sounds very good. The microphone makes a robust and well-made impression. The cord is comfortable, flexible, easy to pull out. It appears to be made out of good flexible rubber. The clip on the back is fixed well and firmly and can be rotated 360 degrees. The audio output via the microphone also seems to be completely sufficient. I love this speaker mic and for the price I could just buy a second one to keep as an extra.
