Due to severe skin allergies it is very important that I always have a supply of this castile soap. Every other product on the market causes burns, blisters aka Acute Contact Dermatitis etc due to the chemicals it contains. Here in the US, all foods contain harmful fillers and flavorings. I love this dish soap and wash my hands with it. I'm trying to reduce my plastic footprint and get back to simple things. That being said, the soap comes with two layers of plastic, and I'm hoping the company can figure out how to do it with paper.

I know a lot of people don't like the smell but it's a strong olive scent, not mild like most olive oil based soaps. I was in Provence many years ago and this soap brings back so many memories! I like the smell, it fades over time on the skin and is very moisturizing. I keep this in my bathroom as a zero waste alternative to bottled soap and it lasts a long time.

Seller: Cie Luxe Brands Good, the smell of cooked olive oil. but if you read how it's prepared, you know that it's cooked for several days to evaporate the excess olive oil during the cooking process. but for me it's right for the money. As with others, if you remove the plastic and let it air out, the odor will decrease. Great soap!

Wonderful natural "Real Soap" Smells of oak, smoke and musk. Some say it smells like oil, it's a natural smell, no fragrances or additives. I loved this scent. Works well for the whole baby and hair.

I have bought this soap many times both in the US and France. But not before from this provider. It must be fake. The soap smelled of tar. We put it on the shelf in the shower and it melted with a growing hole and oozed goosebumps. I wouldn't dare use it.
