I have used this product before and once had no problems when I had trouble replacing my cartridge. Removing the chip to put it in a new cartridge is not particularly difficult.

This 414X toner cartridge offers the same performance as the original but costs three times less. I have previously purchased a set of four cartridges of this product and they have all worked well. I will definitely buy again.

I bought this black toner cartridge for my HP M479 color laser printer. Although it wasn't mentioned, I could tell that it didn't have a toner chip as it replaced color laser cartridges in the past. I used the wire cutters and tweezers that came with these LD cartridges and reinstalled the chip from my OEM HP black toner. I was concerned I have a 414A and here is a 414X but the chip worked fine and the toner printed fine. The HP toners (I bought two) only printed 1300 and 1700 pages…

The seller does not tell you that you need to remove the chip from the HP cartridge and install it in your cartridge. Not easy to do. I sent the cartridge back.
