We need a lanyard hole but it tears too easily. That was our second cover. The first time I thought the kids might be too rough, but this time I saw it tear and the kids didn't handle it roughly. If it weren't for the error, the case would be perfect.

Much nicer to hold in hand than Apple's bare bones. It lies comfortably in the hand and does not want to slip out of the hands. The raised base, which improves grip when held, also makes it much easier to pick up the remote from a flat surface.

After 2 broken remote controls. yes 2 because they are damn fragile and slippery and always seem to find a stain in a room with no carpet. I bought this to protect the 3rd remote. And for the price, it's perfection. You have a phone case, take a remote case.

Excellent housing, easily increases remote control volume and makes it easier to hold. It also makes it easy to install the remote control in the right orientation without looking. I can still click and click the edges of the trackpad in this case. I thought about buying a new remote control but it's a much cheaper solution.
