My experience with less expensive Brand X laser toner cartridges has been largely disappointing with more than one in four being faulty or misbehaving (sometimes even immediately after inserting into the printers). I've stocked up on OEM cartridges for my new Brother printer but was wondering if the cartridges available at great prices here at Revain could be any different. UPDATE: I returned a yellow cartridge that didn't work, Clever Supplies sent a new box of toner cartridges straight away. All four cartridges are now working properly. We bought these toner cartridges and we got lucky with them, but out of two sets we have one of the magenta cartridges which causes the toner to spill out in the printer and red streaks causing red "spots". all according to documents. I could live with it if it was just for office printing but we need this color printer for customer offerings. If I could just exchange the cartridge I would be happy but as we had about a month before we had to replace our old cartridges our return and exchange…

We have been ordering these for a number of staff manuals for a few months. The first few orders were ok. Not sure if the quality is exactly Brother's, but it seemed good enough, with only the occasional streak in large areas of solid color. Couldn't send it back as we had to use three other colors straight away and sending it back for a replacement means we're sending all four back. We then received an order with magenta bleeding and smudges on all the documents, which were basically unusable.

I would like to give my honest review of these Brother TN436 toners. As a purchasing manager at TSK, I am very frugal. The prices of Clever Supplies toner cartridges made buying from Clever Supplies an obvious choice. We had a large print job to do, around 6,000 pages, and we burned half of the Brother cartridges that came with the printer. Clever Supplies ink cartridges were identical to Brother cartridges.
