Compatible MITSUBISHI Replacement Projection 915P049010 Review

Good morning. This review came just in time. I recently bought a TV lamp. Replaced July 3. and at first I was very happy, until that weekend of July 23rd when the lamp burned out. I was disappointed that the lamp only lasted 20 days. These bulbs are expensive and I don't want to buy another bulb for fear it will only last 20 days each time. This bulb is scrap. I bought this bulb 5 months ago and it has already burned out. Back then there were no negative reviews, but now you will see that there are several people with the same problem. Also, the lamp is not made by OSRAM. In the original description of the item, the seller stated that the bulb was from OSRAM (which appears to have since been discontinued). I saw the same part number used to identify this lamp with and without the cage (the outer plastic housing that houses the lamp). This is basically the main reason for the huge price differences from site to site. I only bought the lamp (no cage) so this required a little extra work. If you go the same way, you have to open the old plastic cage, replace the old cage lamp and reuse the old cage.
