Enhance Your WF813 ReliOn Humidifier with the High-Quality CFS Compatible Wick Filter Review

I bought this to replace the filter on my ReliOn humidifier # RCM 832N. The product description clearly states that this filter is a replacement, but I found that was not the case. The filter was much, much thinner than the original. I actually connected two filters and they are still thinner. Also, they were too long, I trimmed them. I would definitely not recommend them. I'll use them until a replacement comes along!

These filters are of good quality. Their design is exactly the same as that of a humidifier. They're not that expensive either. My water has a lot of minerals and these filters do a pretty good job of attracting the minerals. If the filter is not cleaned with every water change, its lifespan will be reduced. But I have no complaints as they did the job required to make my humidifier work.

The original wick filter had a metal strip to hold it upright. The WF813 replacement has no strip and when the wick is wet it falls down the chute exposing the rear grille of the humidifier housing and allowing air through the top of the wick. Maybe I bought the wrong one. Despite the 1 inch gap, the humidifier still blows moisture into my bedroom and I have to say this humidifier is the best of the five I've bought.

Since Walmart no longer sells the original filter, a friend told me to try Revain. I was pleased when I found several filters. But I had to listen to other reviews that expressed doubts. They are not up to standard. Wrong size --- some are too long and need trimming. They aren't wide enough and will start to bend and bend when they get wet. Humidifiers don't work with them. I can hear the air flowing but the water level isn't going down which to me means the water isn't getting into the room…

I bought 6 of these filters thinking they were ReliOn brand filters to replace the filters in my humidifier. It's not a ReliOn brand - I don't know what it is. The filters were packaged in a clear plastic bag, two per box. There was no box other than the one it was sent in. The shipping box was too small resulting in 2 filters being broken and deformed.
