I've worked with Xbox laser replacements before and this one worked great. Item arrived quickly and professionally packaged. and i had no problems with it.

Bought as a replacement.

Bought as a backup and fitted when the time comes. Well, the time has come and gone. That does not work. I have returned my old laser for now as it will read some games.

Brand new, NOT refurbished.

To my great surprise, this was a brand new Samsung laser drive. It had the exact same shape, layout, and form factor as the laser it replaced. Worked perfectly on the first try. Don't forget to unsolder the ESD jumper before installation.

Saved me a lot of money and headaches.

I'm glad I stumbled across this DVD Laser Lens Replacement as I was about to throw my Xbox 360 in the trash. It's very cheap even with shipping. Most available Hitachi replacement drives are either used or refurbished and cost a decent amount of money when you include shipping. Before changing lenses, I had disc scratch errors and graphic errors. Reminder: DO NOT FORGET to disconnect the ESD near the tape connector, otherwise you will get an OPEN TRAY error even if you insert a game disc.
