🔍 Clear Transparent Case for Raspberry Pi Model A+ (Plus) with Full Port Access - by sb components Review

Great little case for A+. It's very durable and perfect for Raspberry Pi. My only real complaint is that I wish it had a snap cover for the I/O pins as they are a bit exposed.

I like to use the RPi A+'s case to store HAT modules that connect back to the RPi with a GPIO extender using a 40-wire ribbon cable. But I'm willing to crack the case if I need access to an additional port on the HAT. So it's a good thing that the cover can be easily cut or drilled. That's exactly what I wanted.

Great price and perfect fit. As another reviewer mentioned, there were no issues with inserting a micro SD. There are also no problems connecting HDMI, Micro-USB or USB when the case is switched on. Would definitely buy again!

This is a well made case. Nice and cozy, the holes are well placed. The only problem is that the GPIO cutout is too small for my 40-pin Adafruit Cobbler cable. Easy to fix with a dremel.

The housing is only suitable for PI and closes when the SD card is removed because it is long enough to insert the circuit board itself. Failed to insert the PI without a card and then insert the card because the "access" port in the chassis is too low; The SD card slot is locked. Even when closed, the case doesn't fully snap into place; The lid was uneven. upset.

Best case I found. I have A+, B, B+, 2B and BananaPi in SB component cases. They fit perfectly. I've had no luck with any of the others I've tried.

This unit works perfectly. The Raspberry Pi A+ slides in fairly easily and fits snugly. The ports in the plastic allow you to access various Pi connectors. The plastic quality corresponds to the price. Unfortunately, this case is too short to fit most Raspberry Pi headgear and still cover the lid, so just plan on using the Pi with wired connectors and not headgear.
