Great HDMI to Composite Video Converter

Used for a Roku player. I tried other converters with no success (the image was distorted, didn't fit the screen.) This device worked right away. Please note that it converts to composite video (3 RCA - RLV connectors) just like the old way of connecting old VHS tapes to a TV. It is not converted to HF (e.g. channel 3 or 4). This shouldn't be a problem as most TVs, unless very old, don't have this connector. Now I can have a good TV connection with old analogue TVs. Of course it's easy to…

It tends to turn off and on randomly

bought this to use my Roku Stick as my TV's HDMI ports don't seem to support current copy protection (only 3 years old) so I had it to use composite inputs. Connecting was very easy, plug in the USB stick and get started. The problem is that it randomly turns off and on again. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern to this as sometimes it can run for hours and sometimes resets within 20 or 30 minutes. The screen goes blank, then bars of color appear, then it goes back to what I was…

  • Constant test results
Cons
  • So so

My HD cable box with one HDMI output (1080 I max) and one composite output. According to the instructions, when the HDMI output is used, there is no signal from the composite output, and therefore I cannot use different outputs at the same time. I have a Pioneer DVR, a great but old model with a maximum resolution of 720x480 (720p) and no HDMI input. I was trying to find a solution that would allow me to continue using my DVR. After browsing Revain's website, I ordered an HDMI to 3RCA composite

Works great with Roku HDMI only on SD TV

I bought this unit to connect a new Roku device to my old standard definition tube TV with HDMI only. Short review. Works as it should. I would recommend this product. A closer look: This converter kit includes everything you need to connect an HDMI video source to a device that only has a composite AV (Red/White/Yellow) cable input. In the box you get: - Converter box - Power adapter with micro USB cable to power the converter - HDMI cable to connect your source to the converter - RCA cable to

Works great only with HDMI Roku on SD TV

I bought this unit to connect a new HDMI only Roku device to my old standard definition CRT TV. Short review. Works as it should. I would recommend this product. In the box you get: - A converter box - A power adapter with a micro USB cable to power the converter - An HDMI cable to connect your source to the converter - RCA cable

Pros
  • Use Roku Media Player and Roku Streaming Stick with older TVs. Converts Roku's HDMI signal to Standard Definition over Composite (Red/White/Yellow) signal. For use with TVs with Red/White/Yellow inputs but no HDMI.
Cons
  • Big and chunky

FINALLY... A converter that works with the Roku Ultra 4600R!

For those like me who have bought/returned multiple adapters and converters only to find they don't work with the Roku Ultra...your search is over. I have a 1998 Toshiba 4:3 TV with a 480i signal. It's old but has a good picture and great sound quality. I dreaded the thought/expense of buying a new TV but thanks to Bladen I don't need it. After trying various converters/adapters that didn't work, I even spoke to a local home entertainment company who said there was nothing I could do. I…
