Guess I can't complain, I used it for years before it broke. The adjustable blade broke and shouldn't be sent in for repair when I only paid $15 for it. Although it worked it was a great clipper, easy to use, adjustable and fairly quiet. I only cut my husband's hair once every 4-5 weeks, he likes short hair so this item has not been used or abused in any way. It's just a cheap thing. I've upgraded to something heavier, hope it lasts longer.

As recent reviewers have said, the quality of this item has dropped SO MUCH it's ridiculous. I have an older Conair chrome set that still works, but for medical reasons I need a non-slip pad.
