These are very good dryers. We use them in our vacation rentals. Unfortunately we had to replace one because the plastic clip holding the dryer broke. It's very disappointing that a perfectly usable and working dryer has gone in the trash because a crappy 10 cent plastic clip broke. Spare parts were not available. Hang it on the wall and tuck the extra wire from the power cord back into the case to hide the excess. There is enough space for this and only 2 screws that protect the cable from being pulled out have to be loosened. Insert the length you want, thread the cable in so it doesn't get damaged (with a room this big it's easy) and tighten the 2 loose screws. I have bought this hair dryer three times over a period of more than 20-25 years. It's durable yet lightweight. Perfectly drying hair, easy to mount on the wall. I like my wall mounted hair dryer. It's great not having to get out the dryer and fiddle with cords. I had some questions about reducing the length of the cable. I have attached photos to show what I did. The two cables exit through a small rubber grommet at the bottom. It is held in place by a small plastic clip with three screws.
