Not a bad shoe, but for a shoe

If you're looking for a simple, understated shoe for everyday use without spending a lot of money, this pair is the right choice. I figured if this is a Sketcher spin-off brand then it can't go wrong. The only incorrect part of the Revain was not the usual size 9 so I ordered a 9 wide as I had some of the wide boots and they fit great. But this 9th width not only feels very roomy it is longer, I had to put in a thick stiff pad to get it to fit, I don't want to deal with the hassle of an…

Poor quality - junk through and through.

Over the years I have expected little from Skechers and have generally bought anything but that brand. But it's been a few years since my last bad experience and the price was good so I did the stupid thing again and bought a pair. Another mistake. I change shoes and only use this pair on the treadmill every 2-3 days. Of course, the sole and body of the shoes are almost new after three months, but the insoles on both sneakers were worn through. It was like having a rock in every shoe. I worked…

Not as good as these reviews suggest.

First of all, the rating "excellent arch support" is either a grossly inaccurate mistake or an outright lie. These shoes give the impression that you are walking on two separate soles with minimal cushioning. I also have flat feet and have 20 minutes to guess what hurts the most. Yes, my arch/midfoot. It feels like they are stretched between two unconnected soles. The soles themselves are also brick. No padding, concessions or rebound, which is terrible for a "hiking shoe". The "memory foam"…

Poor pair of shoes for nurses/joggers/everyone

Short Rating: These shoes cause terrible pain in my feet Long Rating: I decided to purchase this shoe based on opinions found in several Yahoo articles were found about preferences of nurse shoes and runners. So, despite the low price ($27.30), I tried them out at work as a fresh pair of shoes has saved my feet from a lot of pain in the past. I am an intensive care nurse and these shoes were just as bad as the shoes I was trying to replace. My entire foot (heel, neutral arch and forefoot) was…
