I was looking for a basic microphone to start capturing sound and this microphone works very well. The sound quality is slightly better than you would expect from a microphone this cheap, so much so that I was surprised. It works equally well on both my computer and Android phone. I thought about using it with a camcorder just to see what happens. All in all, definitely worth the money if you're looking to upgrade your factory kit.

I like this microphone! This is a good way for younger people on lower incomes to get a good, quality microphone for a small fee. When I took the mic out of the box I felt it had a good weight. Everything couldn't be easier to set up and is essentially just plug and play! I asked my online friends how it sounded and they said it sounded just like "one of those pro mics!" My problem with kids playing Fortnite with a headset is that we couldn't hear their conversations, possibly with complete strangers. This mic worked flawlessly with the splitter. I just hooked up some PC speakers I wasn't using to a splitter (USB powering speakers connected to the switcher). Now they can talk to their friends and we can make sure they are not exposed to internet geeks. You only need to keep the mic about 3 feet from the speakers to avoid feedback.

The microphone came straight to my Windows 10 PC. It has good noise cancellation, but I have to turn up the volume for people to hear or speak to me. very close to the microphone.
