You need to be careful when buying coax cable accessories, but you don't need to worry about those barrel connectors. They are high quality and work well in my gear.

Good fit and minimal loss of connectivity. After everything was tight I used heat shrink tubing to seal the whole thing. Works great and delivers great results in our weather.

From fit to finish PL-259 adapter plug or so 239 female to female XRDS-RF well made and should last many years without problems. I highly recommend it.

I had to connect two coaxial antenna cables which came with PL259 connectors. They do a great job and are just the kind of gadget you need when customizing or modifying a ham radio shack.

The adapters have been tested and work very well. I have a portable AC window metal valve in my workshop. So I'm checking connections to my potential antenna sites. I connected a magnetic base antenna to the top of my metal roof and the connection worked better than expected.

I took these to connect some jumpers to help set up the antenna in one of my cell phones. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and weight of these connectors and they seem to work very well. They have a grip area that makes it easy to hold when tightening or loosening the coaxial cable for a secure connection. All in all there is no reason not to buy them if you want these connectors.

Literally the perfect socket to socket adapter. For those of you soldering your own cables like me, sometimes there are imperfections and the conductor isn't quite, quite smooth and round. These connectors are short, but they're still as tight as you want them to be. Not to mention that the price is exactly what it should be. Quality product, if I need another one I will take it.
