Zipper Right and Left Walking Foot New - Advanced CP Technology for CONSEW 206RB-5 Review

As reported by other reviews, the hole for the right zipper leg was drilled in the wrong place and doesn't fit my DNU1541. The left leg was of excellent quality. CP has asked for the issue to be resolved, but at the time of writing this review it has not yet done so.

Very well made - machined or cast to a high quality blued finish similar to that of an expensive firearm. Just what we needed to match the quality of our top-of-the-line Consew 206s. The machine is one of the finest sewing machines ever made! Great zipper feet that also work great for getting a close-up look at fine leather or fabric work!

When I first ordered one of the legs had a slightly deformed hole that prevented it from sliding down the shaft. The seller quickly sent replacements, but the second package contained two deformed legs. One hole was deformed (again) and the other was so incredibly crooked that it couldn't be used. The bottom of the foot also has different styles, with one having cleats and a line running down the center while the other has cleats only.

I really liked one of the zipper feet and finally needed a second foot. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my car. The through hole for the screw is too deep in the shaft of the foot. Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that the two sets I received are of significantly different quality. The one that works is well finished and blued. What doesn't fit looks like a cheap piece of coated metal with rough edges. But the one that fits works on my Consew 206rb-5.
