I just bought a vertical stand before buying this skin and I'm glad I cut the vinyl I think it's for the vertical presentation intended. I assumed the images show both horizontally and vertically that you can just swap sides, it's not like the bottom is just for the bottom because it has a little cutout for the PS4's rubber feet, and as indicated in the title, the image is vertical on both sides. The skin is beautiful, really makes your console stand out and offers some protection. The problems I have with it are mainly related to the controller skins: they are very difficult to install correctly, even after an hour of trying, the controller skin still had bubbles and raised corners. The quality of the stickers is very good and durable no matter what they look like. I was very disappointed to find that they didn't fit my PS4 Pro. The console tray itself is amazing. It has a nice texture, not the high gloss you'd expect, is long lasting, easy to apply and looks great. However, the controller skins were a bit disappointing. They were difficult to put on. You really need to smooth it out to avoid wrinkles and bubbles and make sure everything fits together. I didn't expect perfect but I think it could be better. The stickers are thick and offer scratch resistance (why I bought them) I wiped the PS4 down with an alcohol wipe first. First, I applied the "top" sticker and heated it up a bit with a hair dryer so that the glue absorbed and bubbles formed. I've used them for a gaming session or two and no problems so far. The console fairing was easy to install and true to size. If you take your time applying the skin to the device, you will find that it is very easy and effortless. I did not skin the bottom of the console as the skin would cover the serial number sticker.
