First of all I work as a paramedic in an ambulance - if that's not enough, here are: 1. They are ABSOLUTELY tight. Our bags get thrown and thrown all day and none of them have leaked. A set of five stacks up to 6.25 inches high if your closet drawer is that deep. A set of three stacks that are the same height as a large mug. Cons: Cover made of durable plastic (no glass). They are great. They're perfect for about two servings, so I freeze soup or stew in them for easy, healthy meals later. I like the cover design very much. I bought a different type of glass jar a few years ago (now discontinued) and the plastic connectors on the lids have often broken when left in the freezer (my main reason for buying).
