The boxes are solid, well made. Stickers and markers are great. The gauge is nice. But that container size won't fit in a 5 liter bag of flour unless you force it due to the quality of the flour - it's pre-sifted to allow air to get between the grains. It was disappointing. It might fit 5 pounds of sugar, but no flour. I'll leave boxes like this, but I regret not having bought the larger containers that are on the market.

Only for storing pasta and potato chips. So I can't say anything about the tightness. Keep the chips crispy. Easy to clean. The lids are easy to snap on and off for me. If you have strength/mobility issues these may not be for you. My elderly mother tried to open and close them and she didn't have the strength to close them. I use 2 to store non-food items and they work well for that purpose too.

I like their size and the lids close tight so I don't have to worry about spoilage. They are very strong. My only complaint is that when they arrive, two of the four are so tightly fitted together that it's almost impossible to break them. I had to order a replacement set and found the same. I can't explain why it happens to two and not the other two, but it happens. After two people tried, I brought a strong man and he made it. The rest is fabulous

So I got these to house my growing collection of healthy flours. They are airtight and keep the flour nice and clean. They hold a ton of flour, about five pounds of regular flour. What I'm deducting a star for are the measuring cups. They are mostly useless except as shovels. These are ideal for 5 pound bags of four and sugar, a large container of oatmeal. I also use them to store a "standard" batch of 3 or 4 dozen cookies. They are sealed but not too difficult to open. If you're storing something heavy like 5 pounds of flour, you can't lift it by the lid's "wings" that snap into place, or you could accidentally detach that part of the lid and end up with flour everywhere.
