Favorite bottle I've ever had.

I have been using Contigo products daily for almost 3 years now and this is my daily bottle that I always carry with me. It's versatile and can easily hold hot tea (which is what I drink most) or cold water. When I brew tea it stays hot/warm for about 2 hours and I don't need more. Very easy to clean, dishwasher safe and perfect for international travel as it has a hook clip and is easy to refill at airports. It doesn't leak much either, so I bought smaller versions for kids (16 or 32 ounces…

The best in the business!

I LOVE THIS WATER BOTTLE. I had one for only two uses. It's so easy to clean and let me tell you. This bad boy is STRONG. If you've ever been on a warship or seen pictures of one, you know there are a lot of stairs. I threw my last 4 flights down without killing anyone or breaking a water bottle! A few scratches but it still kept me hydrated. I like its convenience. That I can sit on it in front of my face and drink water while doing paperwork on the computer. Or a small strap that I can attach

  • Good product for the price

One of the best things I've bought. Use all the time.

When buying, I rely on reviews. So I try to be incredibly honest when I leave him. Included. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made and I am very surprised at the price. Sometimes I'm a snob when it comes to certain products. My previous two bottles of water were about $30 each (which seems expensive to me) and they were fine. Although this one. I take ANYWHERE. I even use it in my house. I drink twice as much water. It's so convenient. Fits everywhere. I bought one in a different…

I don't like having a straw, I have a pressure problem

This was the first water bottle I've ever bought with a built in straw system. They were pretty smart with the design, but it's also a little clunky. As every time you let go of the nozzle, it will open, you have to be careful or some water will squirt out. Drinking through a straw also requires more force than usual due to the pressure when the lid is tightly closed. When you loosen the cap, the pressure returns to normal and you can drink just like any other straw without problems, but then…

Well thought out bottle for drinkers

I bought this bottle for my boyfriend to help him stay hydrated more regularly. He liked the straw on the other water bottles as they don't have to be knocked over to get water. The problem was that they didn't hold enough water, and the small size of the straws limited the amount and speed he could drink. He's a gulp and I'm a drinker, so I guess I never objected, but it was a big disadvantage for him. This water bottle is big enough for him - about 5 sips. The larger straw and mouthpiece…

Amazing water bottle

my friend stole my 34oz because he liked it so much i bought another one haha. But since I wanted to drink more water, I figured 40 ounces would be great. Another tip here. The straw is removable. You have to unscrew it at the top. It has been found to be much easier to clean. My favorite part of any Contigo bottle is that the mouthpiece is closed. Calpak, Hydroflask or any other bottle I've ever used always has an open mouth area. It's very easy to clean but I use a straw brush and a bottle…

  • great product
Cons
  • communication with seller

Lots of room for improvement. Why is it so popular?

Let's comment on the features: 1. It's easy to drink from it: you can definitely drink it with one hand, but it needs strong suction to get the water out of the straw. You need to pause and get some air before you can continue drinking. 2. Leakproof: no. Just today my bag got wet. It leaks even when closed! If you can't fit a water bottle in your bag, how are you supposed to take it with you? Always manual? Makes no sense, does it? 3. Easy to clean: I don't think so. The water bottle is so deep

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Good but not great

The best water bottle. EXCEPT.

This is the best water bottle I have ever used! Whatever I'm drinking, I use A LOT of ice, so the 40 ounce capacity is perfect for my extra or excess ice. When it is advertised as sealed it means it is! Not a drop! Where, like my other Boo Boo brandy water bottle, when it tips over, it whips around like it's caught in a whirlpool. Lol I like to use it for my cold drink when I can enjoy my morning on the porch without worrying about a random bug tasting my coffee. The spout clicks a bit when…
