This replacement bumper does not fit my Xbox controller. Pressing the bumper will also move the triggers, resulting in unexpected actions or movements.

Replacement bumper fits my 1697 controller perfectly. My only complaint is that the blue lever in the kit was made of very soft plastic. When I finished removing the controller panels, it was in bad shape.

I bought this to replace the bumper part. The tools worked great, were easy to use and I was able to have the controller repaired for a cent per dollar compared to ordering a brand new controller for $65. It's worth it for us.

After replacing the "should" keys, I didn't notice the difference. The kit contains everything you need. However, look up ifixit's guide on how to replace these bumpers as it's counterintuitive. Feel free to spend a few bucks to save up to $70+ on a new controller.

This was a direct match to the OEM bumpers and replacement was easy. While not a big deal, the packaging was clearly used as tape to protect the plastic wrap it came in, indicating the item had already been opened and the hacking tool showed clear signs of previous use. I already disassembled the controller while waiting for the bumpers to be replaced so I didn't need a prying tool, but if you're ordering a 'new' item this is what you should expect, so 4 stars instead of 5.
