Bandage that lasts

Best price found, no bandage has lasted more than 8 hours on a body part that needs flexibility during movement. This bandage stayed in place all day and I expect it to last a few more days. I've never tried to be skinny so I ordered what I've found many years ago to be a great product that offers excellent germ protection and stays in place long enough to promote healing.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Prices are better than in pharmacies

ConvaTec product is more viscous. I have problems with various glues, but never with ConvaTec brand glue. I buy two to four boxes of 5 for minor wounds every 1-2 months as needed. I have been using this brand for almost 15 years. Revain is the only organization that offers this product for what I can afford to fund my own medical care.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Fair

Misleading description - only 10 pieces

are 2 boxes of 5 pieces. I couldn't see the picture on my phone well enough to tell it was 2 boxes of 5, not 2 boxes of 10. Since all I had seen before were boxes of 10, I didn't realize there were boxes of 5. Would be a good price for 20, expensive for 10. I will update when the product is actually used. Just wanted to go ahead and warn other people who might be buying this thinking they are getting a good deal.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad

That is amazing! - First Aid

I can't believe more people don't know about this. This company is missing a huge market opportunity. I recently had a very bad lawn burn (a light breeze literally hurt it) and for the first few days I struggled with "non-stick" gauze, duct tape and more. Changing the dressing several times a day was a horrible and painful experience as it always broke off a layer of scab that was forming. Applying it with some hydrogel was amazing. I have very little discomfort, much more mobility as the wound

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Hard to say

Do not buy this product!

Firstly, the description misleads you as to how much you received with the order. Second, it is made in China. An untrustworthy place for security logs. Third, the adhesive is so strong it seems like it's pulling my skin together with the pad. Fourth, the gel on the pad didn't pull the infection out like it should. Fifth, the glue caused a severe allergic reaction that was like burning my skin, and sixth, I bought a US made glue that not only helps pull the infection out, but it feels like I'm…

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Skinny Instructions

The product is suitable for short-term use (2-3 days). The edges will curl and fold enough to encase sensitive skin in a pleated patch if left unaltered. Adhesion at the edges will be reduced if the patch gets wet while bathing/showering. Patch removal is tedious and requires the use of rubbing alcohol or witch hazel to remove the adhesive, often resulting in tearing of the delicate tissue and causing bleeding and irritation. Similar products with more Tegaderm rim are much better. Wound…

  • Easy installation

  • Other interesting options are available.

So gentle on my super allergic skin. I also use them as a sealant and allergy reliever around my wound bed where I use a wound vacuum. It's an old trick to seal better and lessen the anger of those fighting whoever is here. softer to remove. Sometimes it can even be left in place for a few bandages, although that's not possible for me. Simply trim the strips to fit around the wound. RN sources getting sick lol. If you're here about an ulcer and those bullets are on you or your patient or are…

Great Price - Healthcare

I am disabled and am using these for a possible pressure sore. The local medical service charged $15 for a bandage! So that's a great offer and exactly the same as what a supplier would give me. As long as they seem to work. They'll stick better if I round the edges since I'll have to trim them to fit. I really wish there were maybe arrows pointing you in the best direction to cut so it's easier to remove the indent. The first time I cut it wrong I had to poke my nail under the backing which…
