Got this after being the top pick from The Wirecutter. It’s even better than I hoped! The wheels are big, with the right tread pattern for sand. My only regret is that I didn't buy it years earlier.It really shines on the beach, but can be used in other scenarios. We’ve taken it to theme parks and it does an ok job there too. If you’re going to spend more time on firm terrain, I would look at one of MacSports’s other models.

This little wagon made our beach trip a totally different experience. Other people had wagons with the thin, gripped wheels and they ended up bogged down in soft sand. This wagon is made with wide, smooth wheels with two narrow front wheels that glide over even the softest sand. As much as I love the beach, walking thru soft sand is a workout, and dragging chairs, coolers, blankets, beach bags, body boards, etc can really be a hassle that is physically exhausting. I am very happy with this wagon! I had it packed to the gills and it went across the wet sand with very little effort! We had to go across a lot of shells and dry sand which made it more difficult, but with one pulling and one pushing it was no problem! For me, this wagon paid for itself with one trip! (We had about 1/4 mile treck to the beach, in the wet sand, shells, and dry sand)

Researched all the beach wagons before choosing the heavy duty Macsports. Here is my impression after spending 10 days at South Padre Island. Everything goes to the beach with us: cooler, 2 chairs, beach tent, tool bag (tie downs, sand anchors, bungee cords, stakes), snacks, food and anything else that suits the moment! Easy to fold/unfold, stores neatly in the truck, wagon has plenty of room for all our stuff, once it’s properly loaded with heavy items at rear it will pull without great effort

This product is way better than the other wagons. It does fall over if you don’t level the weight. It goes through soft sand 80 percent better than other wagons. I liked it. I’m 72 and I took so much on it and was not exhausted in the end. I’m also a woman. It was Camp Pendleton beach. Along way from parking lot to water

We bought this cart to haul some beach equipment across a road and down a sandy beach access. It does great on concrete and on hard sand, but the soft sand the wheels do not roll. I had it loaded with a small cooler, a bag, a beach chair and beach umbrella. The cooler was the heaviest part and I put it toward the rear like the instructions say. Bought this to haul all the kids stuff for beach trip. I was impressed how well designed it was. Easy to open and close. Only suggestion would be to add a wheel brake somewhere as it rolled so easy it tended to try and roll away at times. This would also help with storage. It folds up nicely and fits into bag but you have to wedge it in somewhere as the wheels let it roll when trying to stand up. Overall very pleased though and would recommend.

This sturdy beach wagon is easy to fold and unfold. It’s wide wheels roll easily through the sand, but the fact that they’re made of hard plastic makes the unit very noisy when loaded and pulled across hard surfaces such as roads and sidewalks. Over all, though, it works well and was reasonably priced.

This wagon is easy to open and fold. The only thing is you have store it either on its side or laying down because the wheels are so big. Great for going to the beach or even hauling in groceries.

We use the wagon to load and unload supplies for the RV when preparing for trips and upon return. Greatly reduced the prep time. It can tip over but is generally stable. We are generally careful about putting the heavier items over the back wheels. Generally pleased with the wagon and recommend it for general light to medium use.

No assembly required! Folds for easy storage. We bought it for the beach. Came in handy for taking our supplies and groceries up to our condo. It is not recommended for pulling kids in it but we did carefully pulled our twin toddler grandkids in it. No doubt it will last a long time.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made! If you're thinking about buying this just do it. This wagon is so sturdy and easy to steer even when it's packed with heavy stuff. I've been using it to cart around all the supplies for my craft market tent display and now I only have to make one trip from the car instead of 3-5. Folds up easily and I can carry it myself. It fits in my trunk no problem. I can't wait to take it to the beach too!

I bought this because I'm a photographer and wanted an easier way to take my gear on a location shoot. Why did I wait so long to buy this? It folds easy and unfolds just a easy. It's sturdy and easy to pull.If there is a downside I wish it was a few inches longer and a couple of inches wider. I would buy this again.

This makes any summer trips with a toddler 100x easier. Fold up quick and easy snd unfolds quicker. I have a small corolla and fits well in my trunk. Moves like a dream on harder surfaces. Takes a little more on sand but still moves well across sand. I will never go to the beach without it. Holds plenty of things and a toddler with ease. Although it was pricey and the price was lowered by almost $40 two days later, it was a great investment for me. It carried everything without a problem over the soft beach sand and I was stopped a couple of times by other beach goers as to where I got this thing and how much it was. I’m happy with it except for the price. If only I could get a price match at least!

This is a sturdy, easy-to-wheel, easy-to-fold beach wagon. Yet it carries the cooler, chairs, and umbrella easily and then folds up perfectly to fit into the trunk of the car. Thank you.

It rolled easily at 2 different beaches in San Diego county. Mission Beach had very soft sand. Carlsbad Beach had almost no beach on the day that we went because the tide was in, and we rolled the wagon on the big rocks and some very wet packed sand.It was very easy to unfold and fold. I wish it would stand on its own when folded.We used it for our recent trip to San Diego. I hope it lasts for a very long time.

The wagon can fold up easily but the driving on uneven terrain and it could tip because of the design of the front wheels Thanks for attention.

I absolutely love this cart! Very well made. I would only change two things. A strap to keep handle from falling into the sand when let go. And a few inside pockets to hold large drink bottle. The small mesh pockets are made to hold one can.
