Foam does not fill the entire gap as shown in the product images, foam stops midway causing sagging. There was no slot in the foam to attach a strap, so the strap was considered useless. I even tried clamping the styrofoam between the beds on its own but as it was short it just slid onto the bottom of the two beds and failed.

It doesn't last, I bought this to connect our bed to our daughter's cot to sleep together and she kept slipping. We didn't even try using the strap because it wasn't worth it if the placeholder didn't work. We tried it for a good two weeks and it just didn't work for us. The bottom part it's aimed at is very fragile and does little to nothing.

We had to turn 2 twins into 1 king. I gave it 5 stars because it was really a simple idea executed well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for easy installation was because I couldn't do it myself. I had to hold on to the straps to keep them in place. But he does what he says. With a mattress pad and sheets, you'll hardly notice a slight rise where it is. Good product, fair price.
