    Fits Slingbox 500

    This allowed my Slingbox 500 to be used after upgrading to the FIOS TV One master controller setup. I tried everything before buying. Plugged it in and it worked right away.

    Amazing video quality

    I used the RadioShack adapter but over time I kept having video quality issues and switched to this new adapter. The quality on this is 10 times better and clearer. My only caveat is that it requires power, but to be honest the device is way better.

    Works very well as advertised

    Outputs 1080P component video when the input is 1080P. Very happy with the product so far. Be sure to use good quality cables. When I used composite video cables, there was a lot of noise in the signal. Switching to component video cables solved the problem.

    A cheap and easy way to use new devices on old TVs!

    This unit does everything as described. Unfortunately I had to order a replacement after the first one didn't work out of the box! The exchange works very well and saved me from buying a new TV! And the replacement came within one business day!

    Screen flickering and signal loss every few seconds

    Setup and connection were easy. But I lose the picture and the screen goes dark every few seconds, it seems like the HDMI to component conversion is not happening because the signal is coming from the HDMI input. I can say it is a device issue as a direct HDMI connection to the TV worked with the image. and I only bought this device to solve the audio problem when the HDMI input was connected directly to the TV.

    Brought my old TV back to life, now it's great!

    decided to cut the cable and find a way to upgrade my 20 year old projection tv and just go to rock. I had to find a way to connect Roku's HDMI to my old TV's component jacks. This is perfect for my needs. Upscales 1080p from Roku Express to 1080i. The picture is excellent. I hate to say it, but black levels and artifact free time lapse are better than my 2 year old LCD TV. The only drawback was the somewhat sparse instructions. I had to hit the reset button a few times to get the correct image

    Disappointed

    Sorry this item does not meet my needs. I have a 1st generation plasma TV that does not have HDMI ports. This is HD. I can get 1080 resolution with this device, but I get a broken line in the image with significant distortion when there is movement on the screen. Sporting events cannot be seen without motion sickness. Unfortunately, the support team did not help me to solve the problem.

    I have an Epson 3020 cinema projector, the HDMI ports have failed due to the Comcast cable box and lighting. I learned that a projector repair would cost around $1,000. To salvage a good projector with two damaged HDMI ports I bought this converter for about $30 to see if it would work and get my cinema up and running again quickly and inexpensively. It was easy to connect. I had problems with scanning and flashing when I first tested it. I found the permissions button and started going through
