added to drop the voltage from 48v to 12v in my club car use case so i can install led bar and taillights - has worked great - 2 wires to the batteries (plus the first battery to the minus of the last battery) and 2 wires to the led panel / 2 wires to the taillights.

The item info said there would be a spark when last connected, THIS is more like an arc, I think it will measure a few amps, I thought the item was damaged at this point but it was fine and works great! I have a lot of experience with DC voltage and current systems!

This thing works great in my 48 volt golf cart. Got the batteries wired up and currently using the output for: 4 LED landing gear bars, front LED light bar and 2 LED running/brake lights.
