Great bag - needs longer straps.

I love this bag. That's four launches instead of 5 because the backpack straps are long enough. I'm an average height guy (5'11", 195") and the straps aren't big enough if you're wearing anything other than a shirt. Therefore, you cannot use the straps of a backpack in a coat.

Indiana Jones meets modern hipster convertible backpack/bag/leather briefcase

Husband loved it! I'm so glad I waited another month for it to be available again and gave him his belated Christmas present. You won't find such a convertible leather bag with such clear lines anywhere else on the internet! He can also put his 17" laptop in the front laptop compartment, which should only fit a 16" laptop. So happy with this find!

Much larger and heavier than described

Unfortunately the bag is much larger than the advertised 16.5" x 12" and weighs over 4 lbs. The bag I received measures approximately 20 x 15 inches and weighs 5 pounds unloaded! I love leather but it's too big and heavy to carry around. I don't know if I got the wrong bag or the description is just too far away.

ADVERTISEMENT TRUTH: GREAT

Both patina colors ordered. The photos are correct, the quality of the leather is very good. It has a lot of storage space, but the shape of the bag stays clean and the straps don't fall out. This is a fantastic bag!

Chic pen pocket

It's well made. Looks as pictured, needs a small external pocket but the odd design of the small front zip is for housing a pen, not as a useful storage function as intended.

Reliable product, great customer service

I was looking for a leather bag that can be briefcase, backpack and shoulder bag. I tried Tiding last December and was pleasantly surprised. The leather is of good quality, wear and tear adds personality and the overall flexibility helps with travel and on the go. I've had some issues with the inner liner getting tangled in the zipper and also some issues with the outer liner detaching from the backpack straps. Tiding customer service was able to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. Good buy -

High quality backpack

This backpack is made of high quality leather, has excellent stitching and an overall high quality finish. The zippers and other hardware are very durable and there is plenty of storage space inside. It's made out of quality leather which is why I bought it, which is why it's heavier than other backpacks, but the weight doesn't bother me. I've noticed that other reviewers have complained about the length of the straps, but the length is perfect for me with a spare strap measuring around 12"…
