I use these for my Cisco IP phone which comes with a microphone and headphones in separate plugs. I use my regular headphones for my phone and they work! No problems, maybe the only thing to note. This cable is very thin, so be careful when unplugging it.

I purchased these as part of my solution to have my chat audio play when I'm using an Elgato streaming device on my Stream PS4 or Xbox One. You also need the back side of this cable which is 2 female to one male to make it work for my problem. This fixed my issue of my chat having no sound on my streams!

Works very well. My class requires each student to buy a headset to practice speaking, but I don't want to spend another $20 on something I won't be using after class. Also, these cheap headphones are difficult to sell to another person and I think they usually end up in the bin. I use this splitter to connect my cell phone headphones and my computer, it works so well that the recording quality is even better than those using headphones.
