These are tiny little hair bands. They are NOT the same as in the photo. Not only are they tiny in diameter, they are also thin. The photos show them as thick bands of hair, but they aren't. I wouldn't care if they were adult size in diameter. I CANNOT use this for a ponytail, even close. Pigtails? only half a hair? nope The only thing it might be good for is for small children/toddlers who are very skinny and almost hairless.

I ordered these pink elastics and they are much thicker than pictured. Also, I was amazed at how much they stretch! The color is right too. None of the hair ties have metal parts!
