Reliable Temperature Testing Tool

This thermometer is a must-have! It allowed me to confidently and accurately test temperatures during the baking process. Through trial and error, I found that the thermometer responds quickly and provides readings with accuracy. The only downside is its somewhat limited temperature range, but it still covers what I need for my baking. Overall, a great investment for any baker or chef looking for reliable temperature testing.

Pros
  • Accurate and reliable
Cons
  • Limited temperature range

Completely inaccurate thermometer

We were hoping to use this thermometer in our chick nursery but it was typically up to 20 degrees different than other thermometers we have used . I've been lucky before. Complete FAIL!

Pros
  • Stem length 5 inches (12.7 cm)
Cons
  • Can't remember

The best for testing, measuring and checking is hard to find

I use this thermometer to test concrete and this particular model is hard to find commercially. It has a temperature range specified in the ASTM standards for determining the temperature of freshly poured concrete. If you're an Assistant Inspector or an ACI Test Engineer, you know what I'm talking about. I always have spare parts on hand because I left them at work a couple of times. The dial is slightly larger than some others, making it easier to read.

Pros
  • Body material Stainless steel
Cons
  • Big and bulky
