Terrible wiring device for industrial use

The COOPER WIRING DEVICES WD1225 SURFACE seems like a good option for industrial and scientific purposes, but according to my experience, it's far from that. The device failed to work after a few days, and I had to spend additional money to fix it. The only pro is that it's easy to install. However, the cons outweigh the good – it doesn't work as it should, and it's not worth the cost. I recommend looking for other options in the market.

Great part - parts and accessories

I'm not a tech but I asked someone to install this and it did what we needed. We recently moved into a new house that had an old plug and needed to have the outlet replaced. We bought this. Delivery is fast, arrived in a week. It was easy to install and works great.

Good and almost new

Bought to replace the previous burnt socket. Was reduced but looked like new. Only one screw was missing. No big deal, I had a few from a previous install. I installed all the cables and then discovered that my previous outlet was 180 degrees upside down. So my current setup looks a bit strange but works better. The outlet is absolutely cold, there is no heating at the contacts. Wire edge preparation requires a special tool kit.
