Why is it taking so long? Each year I used tape (measured and cut) or plastic zip ties to hang the garland on the stairs. Last year I wanted to find a solution that would make it easier to get the job done. I googled garland ties and they came up. What a life saver! I can't say enough about how beautiful they look and how easy they are to use.

I really like the ties I am using for the first time and hello where were they. I used a garden spool to tie the garland. The only thing is that they are not long enough to go around the railing and tie. So I improvised and put it lower on the spindle and it worked out even better because now my kids can actually use the railing. I gave 4 steps because it wasn't long enough but I'm happy with this purchase. I used 6 out of 8 handrail ties.

if you are looking for a nice rope tie - this works. If you're looking for a tie that you thought flexible meant containing wire, this isn't it. You have to tie it in a knot and hope to untie it again at the end of the season. But it looks nice. would most likely not get it again just because I needed it with a wire and really flexible. I could use them, just didn't envision them or need them, but they work. They are firm, not thin.
