Non-Skid Pantry Cabinet Lazy Susan Turntable by Copco - 18-Inch, White/Gray (2555-0186) Review

I have a few of these that I have had for a few years now. They glide smoothly and work well. The new ones are made cheaper and don't turn around and also creak. I'm so tired of discounting really good products!

Works. I had the same model that I bought from BB&B years ago and it was pretty smooth. This one was rough out of the box. You could hear that creaking sound as it spun, and the friction kept it from spinning freely for a very long time. Having added enough of my own lube it now works satisfactorily but a buyer should not do this with a new product and as the old model was and still is slick I was disappointed at the apparent drop in quality.

I put one of these 18 inch turntables in the corner of every other shelf in my new pantry. I have arranged the shelves in such a way that I can reach them easily and that there is also room for tall objects. They are very durable and the non-slip rubber surface is such a plus. The overhang at the edges is great too! Would be a lot more expensive (but glad they were so reasonably priced! Kudos to Revain for their prompt service! Bought 2 and both of mine squeak (although I would squeak any of them) and spin with a lot of friction. I lubricated the rollers to reduce friction, but the creaking seems to be from the plastic parts rubbing against each other. You can also see in my video that sometimes there was so much friction when I was trying to spin it that not only was the top moving, but the whole platter was moving sideways. Corner cabinets are difficult to organize. Items get lost in front corners or pushed to the back where they are out of sight and difficult to access. I needed a solution to this problem! I have bought Romanoff turntables in the past and they have been great. This one had a better star rating and was cheaper, so I took three of those instead. There was an error. This lazy Susan saved my life in my new kitchen. I placed Big Lazy Susan on 2 sets of 3 shelves in the top corner cabinets and also on 2 top shelves in the pantry. The rest of the bottom shelves slide out so I can easily access everything inside. Lazy Susan's handle the weight of jars, flour etc. I prefer them over built in Lazy Susan's in base cabinets. Amazing! I saw some reviews that said too much weight would render them unusable. That's true at some point. But we packed these things and they were great! We have a simple pantry that is wider than the actual door. They were very helpful in filling in the corners. Our interior depth from wall to wall was 19-1/2 inches. These 18 inches were perfect!
