Suitable for use in electromagnet windings and transformer coils. Greater than 99 percent pure copper. Uninsulated single-strand wire with two red color protective coatings. Maximum operating temperature of 155 degrees C. Meets NEMA MW 80 standards for copper magnet wire and complies with RoHS regulations.

Looks like recycled wire

As soon as I started wrapping the wire around the shape the wire turned out to be wavy and had a few tangles and nuts around the edges of the spool. Don't buy from them. I gave them 1 star because there was no way to give them any stars at all.

The first spool was damaged, one end of the spool was broken and the wire was all over the place, didn't work in my winder. The second spool arrived with no problems. So far I've run about 50% of the reel without snagging and my winding is picky.

How is that a good idea? Like any person with any amount of similarities.

15 kg spool of copper wire "secured" in shipping carton with 2 weak, air-filled plastic bags. How good is this idea? As any sane person would suspect, the air-filled plastic packaging burst within the first 10 seconds of delivery. For the rest of the trip, the 15-pound spool of wire tumbled in an empty box. The box no longer arrived as a box, but as torn paper held together with tape. And forget the wire spool.
