15 kg spool of copper wire "secured" in shipping carton with 2 weak, air-filled plastic bags. How good is this idea? As any sane person would suspect, the air-filled plastic packaging burst within the first 10 seconds of delivery. For the rest of the trip, the 15-pound spool of wire tumbled in an empty box. The box no longer arrived as a box, but as torn paper held together with tape. And forget the wire spool.
