I bought a Black and Decker sander for a job I need to do on my exterior wood windows. I will be sanding wood window frames and parts of my house vertically. I need to be able to squeeze in in some places and it needs to be easy, I'm on the stairs now, I don't need it heavy. Black and Decker's grinder is lighter and can be held in two ways. but I prefer the Skil grinder which I bought when the top of the Black and Decker grinder broke like many of the other people mentioned. Let me start by saying that I'm into woodworking and wood painting, so I know about sanding machines. I use them very often. I have a Black and Decker Mouse Grinder that I think is modeled after this one, but there is one very important difference. The hand sander from Skil is uncomfortable to hold because it is large in the grip area. The Black and Decker is smaller in the grip area and is much more comfortable in the hand. Black and Decker also has a second option to hold it further backโฆ
