Great cutlery for travel/work.

Forget about buying single-use plastic or stealing cutlery from home. Very light, comes in a small cloth pouch, easy to clean and store. A limitation. The knife won't cut much other than butter. Yes, it will get the job done, but as they say, this isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it will do the trick.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Out of style

Beautiful and practical

These are some of the best hiking accessories I've seen. They come with a protective case (not that I've ever used a protective case - dirt is the key to mountaineering, after all) and are beautifully finished. Personally I would have preferred them about 3/4 inch shorter - backpack space is always an issue - but they are really good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some problems

Extremely light, small utensils

I threw away plastic cutlery and bought it for everyday use as it is very light and compact. They look thin, but still hold up. Sometimes I soak them before washing and they don't rust or corrode. They are definitely smaller than your regular cutlery at home. They won't scoop ice or tear up solid food with them, but they're good enough for basic use.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No dispenser

Titanium? Not exactly sure

I bought 2 sets because they said they were titanium. I find this extremely unlikely as I can bend them easily and they don't bounce. I have a real titanium set from a reputable manufacturer and they don't bend at all. Probably due to their weight, they are aluminum and anodized with "Titanium". It would be nice if they were advertised as such, but expecting real titanium and getting this rubbish ensures I'll never be by that manufacturer again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Tradable

Titanium cookware is 70% lighter than regular cookware!

When I first opened my new titanium core cookware, I thought 'did they really send me all 3?'. They are very light. My regular cookware weighed over 5 ounces, but the main element titanium cookware weighed 1.5 ounces! If you're a light backpacker, you know that every gram counts. They felt so light that I thought they might not hold up very well and flex when I tried to use them, but that fear was unfounded. I tried to bend the forks but they held tight. Although they are light, they are strong

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

About the Best Knife in Camp Kitchen

I bought these because a reviewer said the knife cuts well. But the serrations were on the side of the blade and didn't reach the cut, leaving mostly the blunt edge of the butter knife. But I really like this set, so I took a medium file, which I use to sharpen my axe, and filed it along the "buttered edge" so the serrations were more visible. It only took about ten minutes. Now there is a notch on the cutting edge and it is cut. I like the spoon size, closer to a teaspoon, which I prefer to…

  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

Very light, affordable

I carry this to work every day in my briefcase so I can avoid plastic utensils at lunchtime and I also use it for hiking. They are phenomenally light. From this point of view they are light, like cheap brittle plastic, but of course they are actually very strong. If you really try, you can bend them, but not that easily. The price is great for titanium. The only improvements I'd like to see are an improved finish in terms of beveled edges and slightly polished surfaces to make them more…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Clarity

Excellent reusable cutlery

I didn't buy these for camping but for office work. (Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely take these with me when I go camping...but I use them for lunch every workday) I was looking for a cutlery set to keep on my desk. I'm tired of constantly getting new plastic utensils when I need something. I saw them and loved the name (the main element...it couldn't be cooler!), loved the design and loved that they were titanium. As soon as they arrived I used them and really like them. The **ONLY**…
