Corelle Coordinates Portofino 2.5-qt Pitcher: Elegant Serving and Versatile Hosting Essential Review

We love this jug! It goes wonderfully with our Corelle Portofino plates. This is our water pitcher, which we use to fill glasses at the dining table. I wasn't sure how often we would use it but it comes out every day and we are very happy with it!

Very disappointed to receive this item as the description is completely inaccurate. This is not a Corelle product, it is not made from the same lightweight material as Corelle and is not made in New York as the description states. It is heavy, made of porcelain stoneware and made in China. So clearly written on the bottom. I am returning this item as it is not what I expected when I bought it.

That's their Portofino line if I remember correctly. holds 2.5 liters with a beautiful porcelain finish. ideal for serving orange juice for breakfast when guests have passed. Nice big size. also allows me to blend 2 liters of juice mix (2 liters is the usual size for juice mix packs) making this ideal for this. I guess I should have taken a closer look at the description and weight of the item as I assumed this item would be made of similar material like Corelle consists of plates, bowls, cups and so on. However, this is not the case. This jug is also very heavy when empty as it is made from a ceramic material most similar to porcelain stoneware rather than Corelle or finer porcelain. The description says "Proudly made in Corning, NY". It says "Made in China" under the item. The mention of "Portofino"

I only bought this to look good on the shelf. There's no blue in there at all. It's plain white. So I have to say it's lagging behind. I have showcases with lights and mirrors. I put this jug on an unlit shelf. If you want to send me one with a picture I will not send it back. The weight
