Lightweight, chip resistant and bright white tableware that goes with everything. What's not to love? My heavy stoneware will find a new home at Goodwill (at least the bits that aren't chipped or cracked). I have space in my closets again. Corelle is such a space saver that I have room to go back and order serveware. I've been using it for 23 years and I rarely break dishes. This is not a replacement. I was sending my fourth child to college and just added another set to the family. I can't recommend it more highly. It doesn't have the current styles available in ceramic and other brands, but Corelle will last forever and its simple design works great, allowing you to jazz up the rest of the table and leave it as a simple base if you want more style.
