I switched from a keyboard with short keys which made the keys on this board hard to get used to. As for RGB, the keyboard doesn't light up at all until you log in. So if you're in a dark room, you won't see the keys when you type your Windows password, which is a drag until your fingers remember the new board. The keys are also pressure sensitive, so you can drift in games if your finger rests on the key.

My first impression is that the thing is just great when everything is plugged in. The aluminum construction, lightning-fast keycaps, and adjustable cue wheel make this thing an amazing keyboard. I've never used 'short' MX Cherry switches and they look more like mush than 'sharp' switches than MX Browns, but I have to admit after a little practice I like them better than the brown ones.
