🪑 4-Pack of Cosco Antique Linen Fabric Folding Chairs Review

I didn't want to worry about borrowing chairs for Thanksgiving and am so glad I bought them. They're more comfortable than most folding chairs I've sat in, and the textured black fabric keeps them from looking boring like "church basement". Someone asked if they could be reupholstered. I think they might; Adding photos to show the underside/back where soft detail is appropriate.

My review is specific to the vinyl folding chair. When I opened the package I was concerned about the vinyl covering the padding. It was cheap and flimsy. I gave them a chance since the rating was so good. I used it once and found that one of the backrests of the chair was starting to crack. There is no way vinyl chairs can get 4.5 stars. DO NOT BUY VINYL. I hate it when companies have a list for very different products.

ordered a few of these for my office. Half of them were fine. As I started opening more boxes, I noticed a strong odor coming out of the box. I unwrapped the bubble wrap on one of them and a very smelly chemical liquid splattered all over my clothes, skin and floor. The whole office stank and it got so bad that we had to get our staff out of the room. The chemical was irritating my skin/hands causing itching and redness. Bought these chairs 6 months ago. My first impression is that they are great for the price. They appear durable and comfortable. They're great in a pinch when people are going out and you need extra chairs. The reason I took off 2 stars is because I don't think they are strong enough for someone my weight. I weigh 250 pounds.
