However, they have 4 and not 5 stars because they are definitely not 100% cotton. They have a kind of elastic fiber in them because they stretch well. They fully fulfill their purpose. They are inexpensive and you get a lot for the price. It is clear that these are mass-produced items. Stitches sometimes don't work, but who cares. They wash well and I've accidentally put them in the dryer a few times with no problems. I wear them at night with hand cream to help with dryness. I bought the large and small sizes for my family as it gets too hot outside to wear protective surgical gloves. What attracted me to these gloves is that they are all cotton and washable. No big size problem. However, the small size has quality problems. Two gloves had to be thrown out of the box as the thumbs were not sewn onto the gloves. I washed them on the normal cycle on a warm cycle upon receipt and the stitching on each of them came undone at the cuff.
