Size/texture/softness and ease of use when sewing on piping is generally good but there were sometimes kinks in the cord (a few on my 10 yard roll) . ), making it difficult to sew without wasting time fixing creases. Most of the time I had to trim a few strands that were under tension to allow the bends to release the tension and allow the cord to lie straight.

This cord arrived in the mail 2 days after ordering. I bought this to make a cover for my large chair. The cord was the right size for the padding. I'm generally happy with this product, but I gave it four stars because there are kinks in the cable every few feet or so that don't line up properly and are a little difficult to work with, but they're not as noticeable on the finished product and the spool it is on is made of cardboard.
