The box breaks

A bag of wine and the tree warps and falls apart. Also, the socket hole is too big for stable operation. I like the style of the box but in general it falls short with the wood warping and falling apart. I'll try to fix the box as soon as I can find a clamp and wood glue.

  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Do not buy this item until you have read the reviews.

Great price. Looks great. However, as with many other reviews, the wine boxes do not fit. The hole is too big. The back closure is not designed to slide down easily. Very disappointed. It's not difficult, I want you to do it right. I advise against buying this product. Too disappointing. unusable.

I wish they would offer a larger size to fit the black box wines

Fine craftsmanship! I booked a rustic outdoor reception at our public beach. I was thrilled to see how good they were when I opened the package but they don't fit in a wine sized Black Box box. It's too late, we won't buy wine that fits in the crate, so we have to return it :-(

Nice but not well thought out.

Beautiful wood, I was very happy when I pulled it out for the first time. But then the wine box didn't fit so I used my bladder but the hole is really big. Then about a week later the box cracked at the seams as the wood warped horribly on the sides so I had to tape and clamp it or throw it away. My wife likes the look so I had it fixed and she is looking for wine. box that fits.

  • Hands free

It's beautiful but not practical.

Good concept; However, they really had to craft the box to match the packaged wine. Even taking the bubble out of the box and putting it in it is not very good. The box is too wide and interferes with the flow of wine. The hole is too big. Once the hydration bladder is about half full, you should play the tipping case game or open the lid and press the pouch to pour out the wine. I'm disappointed but hope someone will come up with a better model in the near future.

Good concept terrible quality

design and thought is good. Unfortunately, I have already ordered this product twice. I kept the first one even though the wood was warped and the sides didn't fit together properly. However, I did my own maintenance so it would take 6 months. Now it's collapsed. I ordered another one in the hope that the product has improved. My second was warped more than the first and had cracks in the wood on three sides. I returned it immediately. It's so frustrating when you have a good concept but don'tโ€ฆ

I made fauxmensteins!

The wood on it is beautiful. Acacia is a good hardwood, so these boxes made good speakers. I lined the inside with sound deadening foam and the mortise hole was almost the perfect size for the connectors (just be sure to focus on centering). I trimmed the cherry wood panels for both boxes for $34 and installed a pair of Dayton Audio PS95-8 full-range 3-1/2-inch spot-source drivers ($24 each). I got a great set for about $150. Speakers that rival a pair of $600 Blumenstein Marlins in size andโ€ฆ
