Use aquarium gravel

Requires about 7.5 pounds of fine gravel. Do yourself a favor and use aquarium gravel. Hardware store gravel is very dirty and very difficult, if not impossible, to clean. The pads work well and remain submerged after all air has been removed and replaced with foam pad water. I can't say anything about durability.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

This will be a comfortable booster seat for little ones in the bath

I bought this as a step to get out of our hot tub after opening our deck on one side to get into the tub. I needed a nudge to get out of the tub onto the deck. That helped, but I wanted it to be a bit larger for my purpose. I bought balls to keep him down and he stays down. This will be a comfortable booster seat for small people in the bath.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • boring package

Don't waste your money it's junk

Bought two of these and they just don't work. Very disappointed that I spent a total of $80 for something I thought would work. After a month, the inner material is flat and hardly offers "sitting". I'm only 140 pounds so it's not a weight issue. Cheap $10 plastic inflatables work better and last longer than these! If I could I would give "zero" stars as it serves no functional purpose. got to

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Adds a few inches to a hot tub

This is one of the thickest seats I've come across. I'm only 5ft tall and had trouble keeping my head above the water in the hot tub. It takes a little while to fully submerge in water and you need to add glass beads or some other weight. But once fully wet and weighted down, it does its job well. Now my husband wants one for his place! Once fully set up I would say it is around 4-5 inches tall. It flexes a bit when I sit on it, but it gives me the right height.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works better than expected and seems to be durable in the water

Bought for my wife who has what is called a 'vertical challenge'. I bought some glass beads to weigh it down and we just leave it in our spa. The material has not discolored and has held its shape for several months. Looks mostly new so far. This works really well and lifts her up so she's more comfortable and doesn't have to keep her head above water. The material is a little sticky which helps keep it in place, but it still shifts. I'm not sure what to make of this, but that's why I can'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Does not fit all

We bought water stones for our new hot tub.

We bought water bricks for our new whirlpool. They were intended as boosters for kids, but we also found them useful for adults who sit in lower seats. These are our first few months of use but they appear to be durable and definitely do the job. We leave them in the spa as they were difficult to remove and store after each use as they take time to drain and dry. We also filled the cargo pockets with balls and it worked great. First, you just need to hold the bricks under water for a minuteโ€ฆ

Blue seat = 0 stars / Black seat = 5 stars / Customer service = 5 STARS

The blue seat lasted 6 weeks and then fell apart on the spot. We bought the black seat 10 months ago and it is still in great condition. Contacted support, sent some photos and requested a replacement for the black seat. New black seat arrived in 3 days. Customer service was incredible! Others had the same issues so beware the blue! Update 02/16/19: The black replacement seat fell apart just like the blue one. I feel like the company has gone through a big shift in the production of thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I was so excited to use this booster in our hot tub. I filled the bags with balloons as suggested. The pockets close with velcro, which I thought was poor design, but I put them in a nylon bag and dropped them in the water. It worked great as a seat sized for those of us under 5ft tall. Thanks to the many straps, it is comfortable and easy to move. However, within a few weeks, the cotton stitching that holds the zipper, seams and handles together completely unraveled! In addition, the velcroโ€ฆ

WATER BRICK is Belize's clear winner

A booster seat is useful if you are small (me) or if you have children at the spa. This may allow you to position yourself better so the jets on your back or shoulders work the way a bath should work. If you have kids, this will help keep them afloat in the lower seats. Our hot tub doesn't have a chilled seat. I can stack two of these boosters on top of each other and use them as a cool seat. I filled the "pocket" with golf balls instead of rocks or marbles. It worked fine once fully surfacedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging

  • I don't remember
