Adjustable Shoe Mount Bracket by Cowboystudio Review

Nothing exciting here. He does what he has to do. I wish the screw handle wasn't plastic, but that doesn't matter as it still gets the job done.

This thing works great. Attaches to my tripod. Slightly loosen the red screw (don't overdo it, it will be more difficult) and put on the flash. It was able to support Nikon's SB-910 without any problems.

Good build quality, solid metal feels good, holds flash well. You just have to be careful with the thread you mount so it doesn't go too high to cause a flash. Very happy with the purchase. No problem to report. Very simple and efficient device.

Very Reliable Unit. My block looks just like the picture. I have no problem installing and trusting my $400 flash on this device. The red handle itself is plastic and doesn't look like it's going to break anytime soon. The handle is large enough to be rotated and locked easily. For the price, it's hard to beat

I bought two of these but one was made by another company. I liked both and although one was metal (the Cowboy Studio version) and the other was very hard plastic, they both got the job done with no problems. I recommend this mount for the price as well as the simplicity. Use and Accuracy.

This product clearly states that there is an umbrella holder under the bracket. The photo of the product shows some kind of silver device, apparently for attaching an umbrella. However, only the upper black part of the product photo was sent. Thank goodness Revain is so good with their return policy. I would stay away from Cowboy Studio unless you want to check Revain's return policy.

The description says it includes an umbrella holder at the base of the mount and the picture shows something silver screwed into the base. This silver "umbrella adapter" is not included in the scope of delivery. Revain sent me another one to make sure it didn't have an umbrella adapter either. If all you need is a cold shoe adapter, this will work. The clip is spring adjustable and all metal except the red knurled knob is plastic.
