This pet bed is very soft and smooth, which makes it easy to wipe down. It is also a great size and my cat had plenty of room to lie down in a fairly stretched position. It doesn't generate as much heat as I was hoping fro my elderly cat. She used it for about a week before moving on to th enext spot. It makes a very soft crinkly noise because of the thermal material inside. If your cats don't like that type of noise, then this may be a pass.

I purchased this for our barn cat. I wanted to have it on hand in case of a power failure. Although she has a heated bed and uses it, she seems to like this mat, I found it dragged over next to her heated bed. I'm surprised as she is finicky. I haven't washed it yet, so can not comment on that.

my cat loves to sleep/watch birds in the cat stroller we keep by the window. she got diagnosed with arthritis a while back, and i’ve noticed she’s been having a rough time getting comfortable when she’s in the stroller. since getting this, she hasn’t left the pad for more than an hour or two. she loves it! she seems to have an easier time getting comfortable, especially when getting in and out. best $12 i’ve spent :)

I have bought 3 different beds so far because they all love them so much. You can feel the heat when the cats are on them too. They really work!
