I really like the look of the bag and have received a lot of positive feedback on it. I've been using it for a few weeks and am enjoying it. The only downside is the strong chemical smell, which is slow to dissipate but is always present. It's not the pleasant leather scent I was expecting. I'm waiting for it to go unnoticed. This is by far the best $1 I've bought in a decade. Pure vintage magic, it looks like a bag your smart grandfather would have laughed at around the world when he was an aspiring photographer for NatGeo. I understand that leather/leather shouldn't be washed, but I scrubbed out that bad smell with soap to have a little hope that I can reduce the smell its. If I had known the bag smelled like that, I would not have taken it. I thought people would overreact to smells, but you're absolutely right, it's like carrying a trash can. JUST DO NOT WORK WITH THIS BAG.

This briefcase is great! I didn't know what to expect when I ordered. Since then I've received so many compliments that I've been asked where I bought this bag. The quality is great, lots of space and lots of pockets for everything. The leather smell was not overpowering as stated by other comments. As soon as you open the packaging and let it air out, everything is fine. You will love it. The shoulder strap is excellent. Overall, a quality product and price make it an ideal purchase for anyone

This bag smells so strong. I couldn't use it or have it near me! It arrived on time and looks good but that's all I can say it's good. I don't want it to smell so I can use it. For this reason I give 2 stars. If it didn't smell bad it would get 4 stars.😕
