I understand that leather/leather shouldn't be washed, but I scrubbed out that bad smell with soap to have a little hope that I can reduce the smell its. If I had known the bag smelled like that, I would not have taken it. I thought people would overreact to smells, but you're absolutely right, it's like carrying a trash can. JUST DO NOT WORK WITH THIS BAG.
